La grande cascade Plaisirs d'amour by René Aubry Album art

I stumbled upon this song just a few minutes ago and it immediately hypnotized me. What a great way to end a busy day.

Graphic and Web Designer Stephen Di Donato is currently running a Kickstarter campaign called Beyond Earth: A Poster Series where he’s raising funds for his wonderful illustrations of the eight planets of our solar system. Check out his process for the Mars poster as an example.

I’ve always been a sucker for everything astronomy related (see my attempt of a space themed poster) and combined with some fine illustration - I for one, am sold. So if you are anything like me, please consider funding this campaign. I went for the reward featuring all eight illustrations in postcard-size (this reward has free worldwide shipping by the way).

SPAAAACEEEEE.

An interactive Breakdance contest starring Batman and Joker in Stop-Motion. Unbelievably well done.

The Burning House easily became one of my favorite blogs. The concept is simple: people submit a photo and description of the things they would take with them in case a fire breaks out.

Interesting and inspiring stuff to see which of their assets other people around the world value the most. It makes me realize that I don’t own much physical things that are truly important to me since most of my memories, work and documents are stored digitally.

Today I finally received a letter from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hannover telling me that I passed the entrance exam with 11 of 15 points. Looks like I’ll be a student soon.
