Graphic and Web Designer Stephen Di Donato is currently running a Kickstarter campaign called Beyond Earth: A Poster Series where he’s raising funds for his wonderful illustrations of the eight planets of our solar system. Check out his process for the Mars poster as an example.
I’ve always been a sucker for everything astronomy related (see my attempt of a space themed poster) and combined with some fine illustration - I for one, am sold. So if you are anything like me, please consider funding this campaign. I went for the reward featuring all eight illustrations in postcard-size (this reward has free worldwide shipping by the way).

After their Kickstarter campaign has been funded successfully, Matt & Matt launched Wood Type Revival in order to document their progress while acquiring and digitizing wonderful old wood type. Can’t wait for the fonts, keep it up guys!

The Burning House easily became one of my favorite blogs. The concept is simple: people submit a photo and description of the things they would take with them in case a fire breaks out.
Interesting and inspiring stuff to see which of their assets other people around the world value the most. It makes me realize that I don’t own much physical things that are truly important to me since most of my memories, work and documents are stored digitally.
